The Camp View occurrence is located east of Four Mile Creek.

The area is underlain by mafic to felsic volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the Lower Jurassic Bonanaza Group and limestone of the Upper Triassic Quatsino Formation (Vancouver Group). These are intruded by granodiorite of the Early to Middle Jurassic Island Plutonic Suite and quartz feldspar porphyry dikes.

In the area, medium-grained pyrite, sphalerite and chalcopyrite occur within fractures. Disseminated sulphides occur as pyrite in fracture zones and chalcopyrite and sphalerite related to massive or fracture-filling sulphides.

Locally, two adjacent outcrop exposures of silicified, chloritic, sericitic and limonitic felsic to intermediate volcanics contain 0.5 to 25 per cent disseminated to blebby sulphides over widths of 0.2 to 2.5 metres.

The Camp View showing was discovered in 2004 by Inspiration Mining Corp. while completing a program of soil and stream sediment surveys and rock sampling on the Jasper property. The Jasper property consists of a number of MINFILE occurrences known from north to south as the Jasper 1 (092C 080), Tam 16 (092C 081) and Pan (Easy; 092C 088). In 2004, two select grab samples assayed values up to 1.098 per cent copper, 0.005 per cent lead, 5.38 per cent zinc, 2.0 grams per tonne silver and 0.06 gram per tonne gold. A representative outcrop chip sample assayed values of 1.361 per cent copper, 0.001 per cent lead, 0.056 per cent zinc, 4.0 grams per tonne silver and 0.02 gram per tonne gold over 0.6 metre (Assessment Report 27657).

In 2007, a four-sample geochronology sampling and analysis program was completed, suggesting a possible Jurassic age for the sulphide mineralization. In 2008, Inspiration Mining Corp. completed a program of airborne electromagnetic and magnetic geophysical surveys, totalling 817.9 line kilometres. In 2010 and 2011, Nitinat Mineral Corp. completed programs of geochemical sampling, prospecting, geological mapping and trenching on the Jasper property.
